Blueberry and Third was founded by parents of Montessori students inspired to create child size furniture and educational toys that are open-ended, engaging, and benefit both learning in the classroom and at home. All of our products are made from quality birch wood and feature water-based finishes. We manufacture everything in-house, and partner with other small local businesses to truly say, and mean, our products are Made in the USA.

Our Mission

    We take great care in making sure our products exceed the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations for children's toys. Rest assured that Blueberry and Third's products use water-based finishes that are non-toxic and safe for curious kids.

    We want your Blueberry and Third product to be heirloom-quality and to last for years, which is why we use locally-sourced, high-grade 100% birch plywood in all of our products. Whether it's painted or naturally finished, we want every product to blend seamlessly with your home, while being fun for every child.

  • Sustainability

    We feel it necessary to reduce waste as much as we can, which is why our packaging limits plastics and is completely recyclable. Our products can also all be passed down, recycled, or preferably, up-cycled, into a new toy or function when the time comes.
